Doctor: Afnan Tahmim Adrita

Afnan Tahmim Adrita completed her BS degree in Psychology and MS in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dhaka. She has been Awarded a scholarship for academic excellence by the Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Dhaka. She has also been awarded the National Science and Technology Fellowship by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Afnan has received specialized training in cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, suicide prevention, and psychometric assessment. Her wide range of skills also include stress and anger management, psychological first aid, and psychosocial support as well as a strong interest in neuropsychological assessment. She has worked as a Trainee clinical Psychologist at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital and the National Institute of Mental Health and Hospital for over a year. Afnan has extended her reach of understanding social issues by receiving training on promoting gender justice for women workers in the RMG sector. She has worked as a Trainee clinical Psychologist at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital and the National Institute of Mental Health and Hospital. She is currently working as a Teacher at South Breeze School.
